Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings (fresh or thawed)
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- Non-stick spray (or a little oil)
Directions:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel. (Very important if you want crispy wings!)
- Mix together Baking Powder, Garlic Salt, and Pepper.
- In a large bowl or bag, toss chicken wings with the powder mixture until evening coated.
- Lightly oil air-fryer basket with cooking spray or rub a little oil over it with your fingers or a pastry brush.
- Place wing pieces in the fryer basket in a single layer - no overlapping - and place in the air fryer.
- Cook at 375F for 12 minutes.
- Turn wings over. Cook at 375 for 13 minutes more.
- Turn wings over again.
- Increase the temperature to 420F or highest setting and bake for another 5 minutes or until the skin is crispy and brown.
- Remove from air fryer and immediately toss in wing sauce of choice or enjoy as-is.
