No Bake Cookies
Ingredients:
- 3 c. Oats (Quick Cooking) (dry, not cooked)
- 1/2 c. Peanut Butter (creamy)
- 1 t. Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 t. Salt
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1/3 c. Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 c. Butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 c. Milk
Directions:
- Tear off 20-24" piece of wax paper and lay on counter.
- Measure Oats, Peanut Butter, Vanilla and Salt into a bowl (1.5 Qt.). Set aside (no need to stir).
- Mix Sugar and Cocoa in Saucepan (3 Qt.)
- Add Butter and Milk to Saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat while stirring continuously and boil for 1 min (no more).
- Remove from heat and immediately add Oats et al to Saucepan.
- Stir until Peanut Butter is melted and all ingredients are well combined.
- Immediately spoon out onto wax paper one heaping spoonful (large "table" spoon) at a time in separate "blobs" to make separate cookies.
- Let cool.
